The hose dumps the water into the bed of cat tail plants and then is filtered by their roots before it seeps through the screened partition. We have several fish, frogs, and sometimes snakes thriving in here!In addition to being really cute babies, the goats keep the grass trim.Jack Jennings feeding the goatsLuke Guequierre holding a snake he caught from the pond Sierra Guequierre picking peppersSan Marcos River in MartindaleWe double dug our garden rows. This is a biodynamic gardening technique that is labor intensive, but helps you pack more plants in a smaller area. Once you’re done, you are maximizing space and minimizing water use and you don't need to re-dig for another 3-4 years.ZinniasBaby chicks arrived at the farm this springpotatoes planted in the rowpotatoes being prepared for plantingBeautiful sunset at the farm.
